I’m planning to start a permanent page—as part of this
blog—dedicated to the work of Ron Faust. Mr. Faust wrote 15 novels between 1974
and 2013; his final novel, Jackstraw,
was published posthumously. He died in 2011, and information is difficult to
find.
I’m looking for information about Mr. Faust and his
work: firsthand stories, interviews, articles, etc. The information will be
used to develop a better understanding of both the man and his work. If you
have memories, knowledge of his biography, bibliography, or know of any
magazine and newspaper articles featuring Mr. Faust I would love to hear them.
Please send an email to zulu1611@yahoo.com.
I have written what I know about Ron Faust in the post
“Ron Faust: An Unforgettable Writer,” and I have reviewed three of his
novels: Nowhere to Run, Split Image, and The Long Count.

Ben, I read up a lot on authors and books and I will let you know if I come across anything on Ron Faust.
Thanks Prashant. I appreciate your help.
Ben, I have an inscribed 1st of WHEN SHE WAS BAD; Ron included a nice note as well. It doesn't include anything of particular interest, I suppose, other than a reference to a campground he was staying at at the time. Minutea like that is probably not what you're looking for.
Best of success w/ your page; Faust is a midlist favorite of mine as well, so I'll watch it with great interest.
Ron. Sorry for the slow response. I've been offline for a few days. Your signed copy of WHEN SHE WAS BAD sounds awesome. Where was the campground? I'm hoping to cobble together a simple biography, which might be an impossible task and any information will be helpful.
Ben, if you want to leave me your email address here (using "at" and "dot" so it won't be harvested), I can send you images of both the sig page and the letter to read and use however you see fit.
Ron
Ron. That would be wonderful. You can send it to zulu1611"at"yahoo"dot"com. Thank you very much.
Ben
You bet. Photos just sent...let me know if you don't receive them and I'll resend.
Ben, I emailed you some thoughts about getting more info. on Faust, please let me know what you think. Best, JN
Hi, JN. Thanks for posting a comment. It looks like your email went into my spam box. I'll respond to it shortly.
Such an amazing, unappreciated author. It drives me nuts that Faust is relatively obscure, and hacks like Dan Brown are rich in their lifetime. Just my opinion.
