“Simon
& Simon: Loser Turns Up Winner,” by
Jerry Buck appeared in the May 8, 1983, issue of the Sunday Magazine
in the Salt Lake Tribune. Essentially an interview with Simon &
Simon (1981 – 89) creator, Philip DeGuere, Jr., it chronicles the series’
early years. My favorite part? Learning it started out life as Pirates Key—set
on a mythical island in the Florida Keys. |

Interesting, thanks! I've always been a fan of that show. Oddly, it's not showing as reruns on TV anymore in my area and not streaming on any of the major streaming sites, though there are some episodes on YouTube. I may have to buy it on DVD.
Simon & Simon has almost no streaming distribution over the years. I seem to remember some of it may have been on Netflix or Hulu in the early days. I have the first two seasons on DVD and I should get more.
